Inspiration: Survey the situation, see what needs to be done, roll up the sleeves and set to it..

 

Today: Imagine a disturbed situation. Everyone is stunned. "How did this happen?" "Who could have done such a thing?" 

 

Now briefly… and I stress briefly… imagine the energy poured into wondering who is going to fix it, or into explaining why, because of someone or something else, you can't help out.

 

Then there is the lady with the bobbed hair. She exemplifies the 'roll up your sleeves and get to work' sensibility. No crying about the lack of help from others, nor complaint about the terms of the job description. There is a task to be done, so lets do it. 

 

One sees this spirit most often after a natural disaster. Everyone comes out in the aftermath to help out… just do what needs to be done.

 

If you are the only one working the task while others dawdle, be content. One can  be fulfilled through good effort and a task well done. Today, three little words will suffice… get to work.
