One-pointed focus...

Consider the shape of the Christmas tree... triangular with the peak reaching high. Consider the pointed nature of the needles... pine, fir, and so on.

Consider the hooks that hand on the tree branches.

One theme that emerges is a a sharp focus or concentration. This is consistent with all 9th degree symbols, but seems to introduce a level of concentrated awareness not easily distracted.
