The Sword in the Stone...
Inner power...
Pisces 13 expresses a point to the journey of personal growth and refinement where the individual comes back into his or her own. Power lies within, not without.
There is a strong motif of drawing upon ancestral power, much like the story of King Arthur and the the sword in the stone. By extension, expect to find a capacity to find personal strength within for individuals with placements in Pisces 13 and the opposing Virgo degree-symbol.
It is also quite common that individuals manifesting Pisces /Virgo 13 tend to be dismissed as nothing special... that is nothing special until a situation arises that calls upon them to step up with personal power and strength of character. Then others tend to tend to stand back in a moment of appreciative wonder.
The theme is that there is power there, but it is not used mindlessly or for social affect, nor public display. To dismiss a Pisces 13 individual is just foolish. To admire the right use of power is to acknowledge human character at its finest.
Blain Bovee
I have Jupiter at this degree, and it's also my current progressed Midheaven. I've been told recently that I have a core of power inside me - something which I'd always been scared of. It's taken me a long while to break out of the "I'm nothing special" cage - it took a move from a faceless job in a large public sector organisation to being a frontline receptionist in a neighbourhood centre. My power has come into its own.
