Opportunity calls...
The 'bluebird' symbol suggests that good things lie ahead just outside the door. It is a bluebird of opportunity.
But the challenge (this is a 4th degree in the 5 degree series) lies in pushing off into that open land of opportunity.
Think of immigrants newly arrived. They can sense the opportunity that lies before them, but they need somehow to get started. Like the opposing Gemini degree "Children skating on ice", the key step is the first one: the push off. There is an issue regarding old ways and known ways of doing things though. It is like how we used to do it in the home land is no longer quite suitable here in the new land.
But it is only human nature to cling to the ways of home and the known: the past we come from. Hence the bluebird is standing at the door of the house. One must choose which way to go, and if that choice is out, what one is to bring along as the best tools for the new task ahead.

Hi Hiroki!
Thanks for this.
If you look at all the 24th degree symbols (perhaps you still have that single-page Sabian symbol reference guide you got from me years ago), you will notice a suggested tendency to withdraw or turn inward. Perhaps this indicates an introversion tendency.
The 'bluebird' degree definitely beckons one to step out the door. Like all the mutable symbols in this degree, there is more of a call to adventure... externally, rather than inwardly... while the cardinal and fixed symbols indicate a natural inclination to go within.
Enjoyed seeing a picture of you at this year's jersey sessions. Wish I could have been there!
