Filtered reality...
What if 'reality' was a filtered product of imperfect perception?
When a photographer takes a picture using a special light filter for example, the affect can be wonderful even though distorting in some way.
Perhaps 'reality' is ever flawed through the process of human perception. Perhaps the Indian chief of Capricorn 1 is really great except for some flaws, stains on his character, which can be scrutinized now that he has demanded recognition.
The 2nd degree of all Cardinal signs, Aries/Libra/Cancer/Capricorn, suggest a transition that tends to take things up. For example, a comedian cheers a crowd of friends (Aries 2 "A comedian entertaining a group"), a light energy source shifts to higher frequency (Libra 2 "The light of the sixth race transmutes to the seventh"), a man is temporarily suspended from action ... literally hung up (Cancer 2 "A an suspended over a vast level place").
In Capricorn 2, we find a situation of bombardment such that one of three stained glass windows is damaged. Think of it this way: one stained glass window is broken allowing pure un-filtered light in; or, the destructive attempt to raze all three stained glass windows is futile... sacred space cannot be destroyed.
In terms of potential shifts in reality, shifts in the perception of reality, Capricorn 2 is one of the more potent degree placements. Individuals may experience important changes as temporarily suspending though.
