Careful consideration...
The ideals of justice, the arena of fair decision, is based on an image of the blindfolded goddess Astraea holding a balance in her hand to weigh matters justly.
The ideal depends on an assumption of objectivity and neutrality of one who bears no investment in the outcome, and therefore favours neither side of a matter beforehand, nor judges based on vested interests.
But considerations of justice are like the steeping of tea: every matter is imbued with a history, which raises the question, "Can there ever be a just decision?".
The 'tea' analogy is apt here in Cancer 29, as in all the five-fold series Cancer 26-30.
Cancer 26 initiates a sense of shadow-free words and actions.
Cancer 27 become aware of 'steep' issues suggesting extremes in highs and lows, height and baseness. And, like the leaves of tea that steep in hot water, the clear liquid is sure to be infused, imbued with a staining pigment.
Cancer 28 brings about a sense of attempting maintain what one has, to work slowly to build the initial desired goal through a process of assimilation, diplomacy and meditation.
Cancer 29 is the challenge to weigh matters carefully, in all fairness and with a manner imbued with thoughtful consideration. But, like tea (the opposing symbol Capricorn 29 reads "A woman reading tea leaves") all matters are tarnished somehow. This can mean that even two equal things carry something more, something one must imbue with careful consideration in order to apprehend the subtle differences.
In this way, careful consideration is like steeping tea leaves.
Tea is good. A warm cup of refreshment that suggests taking one's time to talk, think, consider carefully. When it is consideration that imbues a decision process, all is well. When it is a tainted matter that leads to a blind choice... that could be another matter.
