Ch'i : after all manner of refinement, raw energy just flows...
Pisces 16 is the first degree symbol of a new set of five. When looking back at the Pisces symbols so far, we see a developmental story of finding one's way in and through the collective. "A public market" begins the Pisces symbols. We note a deeply sensitive feel about connecting with that, sometimes hiding, sometimes feelings all alone, sometimes playing with unabashed acceptance with any and everyone, sometimes trying to mesh with others, sometimes choosing to go one's own way, sometimes announcing oneself for social attention, sometimes just flying by the seat of one's pants, an so on.
The "flow of inspiration" follows a series of symbols that have to do with refinement of character, especially with regards to heritage and natural inherited affinities. It points to a development that almost reliably follows times of great refinement when deeper, even more animal life energies must burst forth.
The opposing degree-symbol Virgo 16 "An orangutan" is nicknamed the 'wildman degree'. It is as if wild raw energy is released from the cage of civilized refinements. There is nothing inherently dangerous about this development. It is a natural 'flow'.
