Today: Rules are social conventions that apply to everyone… except me. If you come across this attitude in another, or in yourself, consider taking a moment for 'inversion reflection'.
'Inversion reflection' is an intentional self examination that considers the very matter that does not apply as if it in fact does apply. For example, "I am not conditioned by my parents and family" may be turned to "Oh bother! I am just like my father!"
The core energy of 'a soldier derelict in duty' lies in an unerring sense of conscience. However, it does also bring the 'great exception' syndrome wearing the mask of denial.
